• Kava CafeVisit

    Kava Cafe in Breckenridge needed a website that reflected the unique business that they have. They wanted something special that made your mouth water.

    The website allows customers to focus on the food more than anything; it's as if the food was sitting on the shelf in front of them. Tang also shot the photos used on the website.

  • 

    To increase both the individuality of the site and the realistic feel, Tang created a dynamic horizontal layout that gives visitors the different, pleasant, mouthwatering experience that Kava wants them to leave with.

• Teal Art Gallery Visit

  • 

    Teal Art Gallery's home page features a large, alternating photo showing the diversity of art. The simple layout makes the site easy to navigate and also gives a preview of the blog and calendar.

    The Teal Art Gallery blog looks nice and is as easy to update as writing a document in any text program. It also archives the most recent blogs. Blogs allow companies to announce new products, discuss products, post new information or talk about anything they'd like.

    The gallery pages show samples of artists' work. Clicking on a thumbnail opens a simple, elegant slide show and beautifully brings attention to the product.

• 11 Mile Marina Visit

  • 

    11 Mile Marina is a busy place and needed a website that could accommodate. The site has four feeds that you can subscribe to: News, Fishing Report, Upcoming Events and Contest Results. By subscribing, visitors can then easily keep up-to-date from anywhere.

    The photo gallery is organized by date, and the content is easy for the marina to update. The styling is clean and the photos are easy to preview. Clicking on a thumbnail magnifies the image into a slideshow.

    11 Mile's website receives hundreds of daily visitors - most with different purposes. The redesign focuses on easy navigation and helping the visitor find out what they want to know as quickly as possible. Since 11 Mile Reservoir is in a rural area, the site is also designed to be lightweight and fast-loading.

    This site is for a network of companies that work together toward 'green' building. The feel of the site is meant to be natural, but also design based, professional and construction oriented.

    The custom illustration and images really show an intentional effort to meld nature, 'green' construction, and make it look good.

    Having the logos of participating companies and some information about them helps people recognize the participants. This really illustrates the 'Resource' side of this site.

    The home page is ultra simple and modern; a good example of less is more. It tells you what you need to know clearly and concisely, and would not be benefitted by extra 'bells and whistles'.
